The puppy is a Chesapeake Bay Retriever
His name is Rip and he turned six years old in September 2024. I picked him out of a litter when he was a few weeks old in Silver Springs Florida. The photo was taken when I picked Rip up to bring him home when he was eight weeks old. I have had three other Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, and three Labs over the years. They all loved going fishing and especially hiking in the woods. In our case case hiking in the woods meant the Florida Everglades.
